I've been sending emails to/from BP all day, they said it was "officially" me & asked for a shipping address!! YEEEHAWWW!!

I was surprised because I hadn't registered w them for months. I always thought that they made a selection every day, and deleted everyone else that registered that day except the winner. I'm guessing now, that, once you submit an entry, they keep your name / email address and draw from a larger & larger pool every day. That's the only way my name could have been a winner.

Anyway, I'll take the Gore-Tex jacket anyway they want to give it to me!”

Here's the real deal:

I DID win the jacket, and I would NEVER had known if it wasn't for WW...so thanks to him! For the most part, I "donate" this jackets' use to the crew members who don't come from a background which allows them to have the gear they should for some of our "adventures" in the Sierra.

This jacket has benefitted a number of young folks.. that's a good thing. Hope Gore is aware that the give-away is beneficial to some who need it, at least in some cases!”
