Less than 2 weeks until the Michigan walk. I hope its cool that weekend. Walking on a day like we had today can be miserable.”

“Tomorrow is "Day 0" where we do check-in stuff, and I guess the crew does more training. I have a meeting I am required to attend at 10AM tomorrow.

Today is really the first day I've been excited about the walk. I've been fighting a cold for a week and trying to tie up a bunch of loose ends at work and in general simply stressed out. Hopefully I can get a bunch of stuff packed up tonight and won't have to worry about it too much tomorrow. I have to be at Day 1 at 5AM Friday morning, yikes! I have to get up at 3:30 to make it there on time!!

“The 2004 Michigan 3-Day is done! I had an AWESOME time crewing the walk this year. $4.4 million was raised by 1600 walkers and 300 crew members.

I was part of a team that set up Pit Stop #4, where plenty of snack food and gatorade and port-a-poties were available to the walkers. Our theme was Mardi Gras, and we went all out! We had crazy hats, decorations, beads galore (an no one had to show us their boobs to get beads!!).

I met the rest of my teammates on Thursday of last week. It was amazing how we all clicked SO well together, and had such a great time. CRewing is such a different experience than walking. I'm not quite sure yet which one I like better!

HEre are just a couple pics of the weekend from one of my teammates. I'll pick my pics up tomorrow and scan them in, and hopefully have them posted by the end of the week.

“Sass, I thought I'd be very emotional at the closing ceremonies. I'm not sure why, but it just wasn't the same this year. The ceremony was a little different than two years ago, but I think it mostly had to do with the fact that I wasn't horribly sore and completly exhausted and I hadn't pushed myself as far as I possibly could. It was still touching, but not the same emotional level as two years ago.”

“MIAMI (Reuters) - A former topless dancer who was famously cleared of battering a Florida nightclub patron with her "crazy big" breasts has shed her oversized silicone implants and put one of them up for auction on eBay.

The woman known professionally as Tawny Peaks said on Wednesday she recently came across the implants in a box in her closet after watching a television discussion about crazy things sold on eBay and decided, "Why not ... I don't need it any more."
