If you deposit the check at your banks ATM it will credit up to $300 smackers immediatly. With my bank if you make the deposit at the teller it can take up to 3 business days. They encourage ATM usage.
I have actually been broke about a day before payday and have written a check to myself and deposited it at the ATM then immediatly withdrew the money and the check took two days to clear and my Autodebit from my paycheck covered it. But tell them I did that...LOL”
