Bivy, Froggtoggs Report!
It rained all night and morning w/ my Bibler Bivy. But I am happy to say not a drop of water inside. Condensation, not a problem! The only down side Id say is trying to get in & out of the bivy, expecially in the rain. For my gear that wont fit in the Bivy, like my pack, shoes, etc. I just put them in a packcover next to the tent and that keeps them dry.
Other than that if you have extra room in the shelter the Bivy can be carried into and hung for dry, or wiped down w/ a pack towel.

The Froggtoggs, didnt do to much hiking in the rain but when I did it down poured. They are great for the weight and do keep you dry. They breath well and repell water good, not great but good. The only down fall to the Toggs are that they dont have a water shed bill for the hood so make shure if used you bring a waterproof cap!

frogg toggs
what do you mean by "good". I just orderd a set of the frogg toggs. I am interested in your assessment. The idea of a waterproof cap is a good one...who makes one, or can I just scotch guard the heck out of a regular BB cap. thanks
