“Passing this along because I am hoping to learn DreamWeaver UltraDev.. getting some good help from some TT'ers (HPM, MadMan).. and reading through the tutorials..

“TownDawg - the meat of the site is done with Fireworks, another Macromedia product. Did you get that as part of UltraDev? I create all the gifs with Fireworks and then use DreamWeaver to assemble the pages.”

“I just took DreamWeaver class in December and will start using it instead of Adobe Pagemill very soon. It has some great features and definitely is designed for managing a website, not just building pages. Sort of overwhelming though.

SnowDude has done some great flash stuff. I need to do some of that on some of the other sites I maintain. I wonder what Matt uses...has he said lately?

“I use dreamweaver as a prototyping tool mostly and it is nice for site management but sometimes ya gotta get under the hood.

For images I use Adobe products exclusively. I'm not a big fan of fireworks. I havenothing derogatory to say about it, I just prefer Photoshop and Image ready.

Flash is probably the single most powerful web development tool out today. Unfortunately most of the poeple who make the decision to use or not use it still think that Flash is still crippled by its former plug-in status.”
