Well...it's a zero degree bag, it's synthetic, it weighs about 3.5 lbs, and I wish I could remember the brand because I'd love to be able to replace it in-kind when it wears out.

I've got some good ideas for a nickname! We already have a "it's crazy mike", so how about it's silly sam or it's looney larry? Those are quite good, in my humble opinion! What do YOU think?

I use a Slumberjack Deelite 20°F that I bought in 1988 and a Slumberjack 600 Expedition that is a couple of years old; both in Quallofill. I keep them clean (I use a liner or a VBL), store them UNcompressed and can swear by both. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar (it's cheap) I believe Q-fill is the lightest, most comfortable and most compressable fill. I just don't expect Mercedes performance at Chevy prices. As I said on a different thread: Knowledge and Maintenance - Know what it's used for, learn how to use it then take care of it and you'll get the most from your gear. Happy trails.

Of course, maybe you'd prefer a name such as it's nutty nate or perhaps it's wild wally! Those are ALL good, but it's really up to you!!!

What gives? You STILL haven't selected a new name? Well, it must be time for some more suggestions! Have you thought about it's bonkers bobby? Or what about it's coo-coo curtis? C'mon, join in the fun! it's delerious dave!!!!????

I use a Polar Shield bag. It's a cheapie that I bought off of ebay (45 bones). It's heavy(4.5lbs) but it's rated for 0 degrees and it serves it's purpose. It has Quallofill in it and I've never been chilly...

I have a Marmot Pinicole(down)15d which weighs 2lb. 11oz., and a Wiggy's 20d (synthetic)which weighs 3lb. 14oz. I like the down much better but the Wiggy's has more room.

I have the Marmot Pinnacle Dryloft (down/15 deg), weighs 2 lbs 8 oz.

Also have a SD Elle (down/0 deg), 3 lb 2 oz.

I take the Marmot everywhere, even for snow camping. The SD is in my truck for snowboarding weekends, and is usually unzipped part way. I like both of them.
