“Sierra Trading Post often sells seconds. Not all of the stuff is crap, but some of it will fall apart. Keep your receipts. They will take stuff back. I guess this is good advice for every retail purchase, but I have gotten some duds from STP.”

“STP generally will say that the gear is seconds or overstock fabric or last years model, minor flaws etc. You just have to read the description. They have excellant customer service and pretty fast delivery too.”

“STP sells seconds for sure for some items. I bought a pair of Pearl Izumi windstopper gloves off them years ago and the windstopper membrane was not in the gloves so they didn't stop wind at all. I guess you've got to read the details on what you buy.”
