Got your attention, huh?

Any guys here bought women's clothing because it fits them? I know of a lot of women who bought men's clothing/equipment before the companies started to make gear for them.

Today I bought 2 women's XL Kombi base layer long sleeve shirts. They fit me...well, maybe the chest area is a little loose (LoL). They only had men's small sizes left.

BTW, my first pair of ski boots were women's ski boots. I bought the whole ski set together on special...and of course they ran out of men's boots (my size). The boots fitted and nobody knew they were women's boots. That was 15 years ago.

when I was like 4ft tall I had to by womans longjohns because I was to short to fit into hight quality mens clothing.

Ever notice that any thing in childrens sizes has no quality and sucks ars

I got a white Patagonia Campilene brief that looks like womens underwear. I'm afraid to wear it because what if something happens to me and I need emergency assistance...I don't want the EMTs seeing me wearing them, I mean, well, you know what I mean!

I have a pair of womens Polartec 200 pants. I must wear them backwards though,if not there is a HUGE pouch of fabric...I swear they are almost like maternity pants!

Ice Tea, there's a few companies that specialize in high quality gear for kids...but they're expensive.

Would you pay $60.00 for a kid's fleece jacket...which they'll grow out off in a couple of months? That's why companies don't make high quality kid's clothes...there's almost no market out there.

I like walking around in women's underwear...I mean the song!!!

Got it...
Lacy things - the wife is missin'
Didn't ask - for her permission
I'm wearin' her clothes,
Her silk pan-ty hose,
Walkin' round in women's underwear

In the store - there's a teddy
With little straps - like spaghetti
It holds me so tight
Like handcuffs at night
Walking' round in women's underwear

In the office there's a guy named Melvin
He pretends that I am Murphy Brown
He'll say "are you ready?" We'll say "Whoa, Man!"
"Let's wait until the wife is out of town!"

Later on, if you wanna,
We can dress - like Madonna
Put on some eyeshade
And join the parade
Walkin' round in women's underwear

Lacy things... Missin'
Didn't ask ... Permission
Wearin' her clothes
Silk panty hose
Walkin' round in women's underwear
Walkin' round in women's underwear
Walkin' round in women's underwear

The album is "I Am Santa Claus" by Bob Rivers and Twisted Radio. The title song is a parody of Ozzy
Osbourne's "I Am Iron Man".

My husband frequently underpacks and ends up wearing my Capilene long johns or windpants. My tops, socks, etc are too small for him or he would probably borrow them too. I bought several pairs of large & extra large women's fleece pants a couple of years ago & gave them to some of the guys I camp with. They were a super buy at $3.00 a pair & are very plain so they are good for layering. My hubby calls them his "Big Girl Pants."

Pepperdog, I didn't WANT to buy them...it's just that the store were out of men's sizes.

No self-respecting first-aid kit is complete without a few feminine pads. A 1001 uses in an emergency.

Gordon, you DO NOT want to use maxi pads on wounds! They are so absorbant they'll suck the blood outta you. Seriously. They only thing they'd be good for is a bloody nose and a period.

Sass, campmor and sierra trading post have women's coolmax boxers for about $13-15. Still expensive I know. LLBean has them as well, with looser fitting legs, not sure how much.

sassafras:

The post is only half in jest.

Padding underneath the elastic wrap for sprains, etc.

I also was involved in wildlife survey project several years ago. We set up cameras rigged to motion detectors to inventory wintertime wildlife activity. To attract the predators we set up bait stations. The bait was a rotten fish stew. The only thing we found that would retain the bait for several days without drying out was super-absorbent pads (one of the ladies suggested it after unsuccessful use of rags and sponges).

Worked like a charm! The bait stayed attractive for a weeks at a time.
