Snow Peak Giga Power Cannister Stoves...
I have been searching the Internet for a discounted Snow Peak and have yet to find one marked down anywhere...Got any Ideas?

Might have to wait until I get my REI dividend or something.

The stove is great, but you might also want to consider the windscreen made for that stove by snow peak. It really helps in windy conditions.

I paid full price too for the Ti Gigastove. Got the windscreen, but quit carrying it. I use rocks or whatever I can find to block the wind.

I'd be interested in finding a steep discount on their new white gas stove. Cause I'm not about to bite at $150.

I looked at the WG model also
but I have two functional white gas stoves already and they both weigh close to a pound without the fuel bottle and fuel. These little 3 oz stoves intrigue me.

Currently I am looking at the..
MSR Pocket Rocket 3.2 oz $40
MSR Super Fly 5.5 oz $60
Snow Peak Giga Power 3.54 oz $64
Snow Peak Titanium model 3.0 oz $98

If you add the weight of the 2oz snow peak wind screen and an extra $8.95......The Superfly is starting to look like a tough, wind proof little stove that kicks butt. Except for the Pocket Rocket these figures are for stoves with the piezo(sp?) lighters. I think the lighters are very convenient. My MSR model G has a lighter mounted on it and that is something I really miss when I take the whisperlite.

There are all kinds of Snowy Peaks around here right now. I'll sell you Mount Rose for cheap.
