“Twins are a handful! My brother had two boys. They did everything together (soiling diapers at the same time, wanting a bottle at the same time, etc) Mike and Marc. Marc had his baby toenail marked with nailpolish so we could tell them apart.

Also, that's a great trip report. What camera/film/etc. was used for the pics?”

“SN- Economies of scale has its advantages. Great idea about the toe nail paint!. Hadn't thought-a-that. Given we're having a boy and a girl, we might be able to figure out who's who though. We'll see.


skullcap- Thanks! The camera is a Nikon N80 with standard 400 speed Fuji film. Scanned the pics with a desktop scanner. Lotsa image processing happening there to clean up the photos. Nothing artificial going on though.”

“I have five children...when we had three, we had a months-long debate over whether to have just one more...I wasn't opposed to another, I just thought it was too soon. Eventually I gave in, and "ta da!" she was pregnant with twins.

Our twins are boys, now almost 9. It has been hard, but mainly because they are both (one more than the other) hyperactive.

But no matter the challenges, there are no rewards in this life (IMHO) that can compare those that come with being a parent.”

Kinda funny that I spend so much time with other peoples kids in Scouts and I've been a part of so many of them growing up and now I finally get my own.

Last night I met a woman who did hundreds of class 2, 3, and 4 peaks in the Sierra and I'm not sure she has a personal journal to record what she's done. Astonishing accomplishment. I admire her drive.”
