Sorry...I Just Had To
When your kids are finally old enough and you take them hiking and teach 'em to dump in the woods, are you gonna call it take'a'poo, Mr.tekapo?

Wind Walker - Thanks for the reference. I had to look it up. It didn't even come to mind while writing. The words from that book hold a lot of weight with me.

-I wish it were possible to reply more promptly to all your compliments. There's just some competition for my time during the day.

Honestly, even if the trips weren't posted here or elsewhere, putting together the journal entry is part of the trip. Part of the experience. IMV, journaling is every bit as important as the trip itself. You get more out of your outings.

Glad you're enjoying the journal. I intend on keeping it going as long as possible.

LOL. Teach them to poo in the woods? Yikes, is that my job? How did that happen?

BTW, it's not Buddur that's banned. It's some Scottish Terrier that was causing trouble last week. Couldn't you tell from the sign? Feel free to take Budder on the trail anytime. Just in case a Ranger should ask, say Tekapo said it was okay. 8)

crazy mike- It might be better to set up a link to the journal page. That way as new trips are posted, your club would have easier/direct access. You're free to do that.

I have an Australian Cattle Dog named Pepper. She is with me in my photo on Phil's Photo Page. You can't see her too well but she is the cute one. She is kinda speckled black and white.
