Potato pancakes
Recipe Ingriedients:

1 1/2 Ounces instant mashed potatoes
1 1/2 Table spoons Whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp. Cayenne powder
1/2 tsp. Onion powder
1 1/4 tsp. Garlic powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
2 1/2 Ounces Instant hash browns

Serves: Two

At Home: Plance instant mashed potatoes, flour, and spices in a zipper-lock bag. Hash browns and chese go in seperate bags. chese is best if frozen.

In Camp: Rehydrate hash browns. Whisk in 1 cup of boiling water into mashed potatoe pre-mix, then fold in hash browns and cheese. Spoon into greased pan and flaten. Cook like a pancake.

Alright, another chili recipe for me to critique!!!

Black Bean Chili Mac
Recipe Ingredients:

- 10 Ounces small shell pasta or small elbo macaroni
- 15 Ounces canned black beans, draind and rinsed
- 3 Cups spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 Cup salsa
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (not the pre-jared stuff)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 T. freshly ground parmesan chese.

Serves: 4

At Home: Cook pasta in large pot as directions say on the package, then drain. Pour back in pot and add the beans, spaghetti sauce, salsa, garlic, salt, and the cheese. Heat briefly. Spread on dehydrator trays. Dehydrate for 5 hours.

At Camp: cover with water and bring to boil. Stir simmer and enjoy.

Notes: this is an untested recipe.
