Dayhike in Charles C. Deam Wilderness

“I'm going to be in the area around Valentines Day and want to do a dayhike. I don't know if I'll have my 3 year old with me. If not I'll probably do about 7 miles, if he is with me probably no more than 3 miles. Any suggestions on trails to hike?”

“Oh Crazy Mike...help this oblivious person out!!”

“Hey whats up my club is all open to all skill levels.So don't sweat it.

“I'm heading over to the Deam this weekend and was wondering if I have to have a state vehicle sticker or pay for parking at the trailhead?”

“We've never had either a sticker or any parking fees when we've been to the Deam. In fact, we're going to either in be in the Deam or the Morgan-Monroe SF this weekend for the long weekend.”

“Cool. Are there a lot of streams for water? I'm thinking of doing the Grub Ridge Loop.”

“I never used a sticker either. And last time I was there there was plenty of water.”
