Personally, I'd rather see people put up 'For Sale/Trade' threads in the forum. Not sure if that's allowed, though. Now that I think about it, I can't recall having seen such threads in the past.

Or somebody mentions at a hike that they have some gear to unload, etc, etc...It works fine and you're dealing directly with each other, one on one. I like that.”

“Let me tell you all something. I created this project for all of the TT'ers that in past thread have mentioned how it would be cool to be able to post used gear for sale on a website. With that in mind I decided to try to create such a system. Not trying to make any money off of my hard work, but for the people of Trail Talk. Hell it even has this site's navigation. This system was designed for "them" not for you bunch of jerks who can't appreciate the effort of someone's hard work to do them a favor. I don't ever remember asking for the opinion of those who didn't like it. I was just letting everyone know it was there to use. If you don't want to use that's fine, don't. I don't give a #&%!$ if you do or not truthfully. It was designed for the people who would like to use such a program. So don't be a jerk if you like the program use it, if you don't like it, don't use it. It's quite simple really. If you have a suggestion to make it better I would love to hear it. If you just want to preach about how it sucks or how "you personally wouldn't use it" Just keep your fat mouth shut because I don't wanna hear it.”
