i found this awesome place today

“rain rain rain. thats all we get these days...STUPID RAINFOREST!
but then a rare beuatiful warm sunny day comes along and it makes it all worth it...
so i went out to go surfing but the beach we wanted to go too was no good today...so we went further north. We found an awsome beach where there were like 20 armed giant starfish on the rocks and cool stuff like that. above on the bluffs was a little easy going trail...very scenic. and to top it off, i found like fields of good sized huckleberry bushes...almost like if they were farmed...I know now the perfect place to go when the berries are ripe! (ALL MINE! HEEHEEHEE) Anyways i got sunburned since i havent seen the sun in like months. but like i said it was worth it. Its not a backpacking place but its a little gem i found today that raised my spirits.”

I found a special place, too. I went to an area marsh and found a trail through it on a hillside. Cool!

Then I found an access point to it I didn't know about. A sloopy, mud-on-ice, rut-filled 1/2 mile road. I took my old Jeep down it and was praying I didn't get stuck! Yee-haw! WHAT FUN!! That's the most I've ever done in mud and it was a blast!! :-)”
