rain pants-Thrift store score!!

“walked in to the thrift store today and saw 2 pairs of wind and/or rain pants.
They both have the zipper cuffs at the bottom of legs.One pair even folds into a zipper pocket-this pair cost me 2 bux the other pair 5bux!
They ar eboth 100% nylon but one pair seems to have mini square patterns and has some kind of rubber coat on the inside.Is that waterproofing?
Last week i walked into the thrift store and bot a sierra designs waterproof wind shell for 5 bux.
These places are great.Sometimes you wont find anything for ages then all of the sudden you find everything.You gotta check frequently tho.”
