It would help your quest, I am quite certain, to specify a region of the United States (or possibly Canada), or perhaps you could go so far as to specify a state or province in which you are considering a backpacking trip. I was hoping they would notice my post and comment, but I haven't been on trail talk in quite some time, so maybe I'm wrong.”
