To make a link that opens in it's own window (a nice touch), simply copy and paste this:

<a href="INSERT URL"target="_blank">INSERT LINK NAME</a>

In place of INSERT URL, put in the URL of the website (copy and paste from your browser's address bar).
Don't forget the http:// part or it will be assumed to be on the www.thebackpacker.com server.

In place of INSERT LINK NAME, choose a name for the link.

You know about the HTML Thread, don't you?

Or just do a Google search on learning HTML or something.

It worked but you need to set your font color to something other than white.

Hold down the left mouse button and drag over the message to view the text.

I don't like the 'h' codes on this board - they are intended for headings and they leave too large a space before and after them. Try <afont size="3">a TEXT <a/font>a instead.

Still, that's only two levels... it's not like having to count all those damn parentheses in LISP.
