You're welcome.

Joshua Tree is an acquired taste, in my view. Definitely very nice for winter trekking and climbing.

Very Nice Tekapo!
The descent of peak 4,377 looked almost Lunar :) What were the temps like out there ? (highs/lows)

Yeah, it was a full day of scrambling. Once home and in bed, I could feel parts of the body I never knew existed.

Today, I'm good as new. A little chapped though.

Low: ~25 deg
High: ~60 deg

Very Well Done!!! How did you learn how to create a website like that?

Very impressive! I love desert hiking and your journal truly conveys the experience of it.

As usual,
that was beautiful. I was there during the spring, I think it has more color. Don't the rocks just call to you to climb them? Wonderful trip report. I look forward to your next one.

For some reason, the pages won't load completely for me. Other trip reports in the journal come up fine, but for the Joshua Tree trip, the photos are cut off and cover up the text and the "next" button. But from what I can see, it looks like a great trip.

Glad you enjoyed the photos.

I tried to make the site more Netscape compatible, pekka. All should be well for you now. Please, let me know if not.

adventurist- I learned by just learning basick HTML code and trying to be creative. It comes from the heart.

skullcap- Even though the place seems barren, there's actually a lot of color there. The Cholla (cactus) gardens in the evening hours appear to glow. There's a mystique to the place.

tekapo, thanks for the assistance. It's an outstanding journal and I really enjoyed visiting Johshua Tree. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences afield through both your photos and your words.
