Happy thoughts

“Good Morning all.
I woke up this morn befor the sun and discovered i can cook...teehee i made pancakes! Afterwards i took a walk. My backyard consists of acres of redwood forest and all i have to do is walk down the steps and i'm in em. As i walked up throgh the trees slogging through the mud(theres nothin like a bit o mud to wakw ya up!) i noticed that spring was coming...the red-flowering currents are in bloom and the huckle berries are budded up. Halfway to the old earthen dam i stopped...my heart pounding at what i heard. The most beautiful sound of the forest this time of year which always stops me in my tracks. The Winter Wren who sings like no other bird i know. Its song always stops me and makes me smile.
I hope you all have as nice of a day as mine has started out being.

“I woke up at the crack of noon a couple hours ago and made my way to the kitchen. As I slogged across the muddy floor, I heard that sound that always stops me dead in my tracks - "brrrriiiippp!"

"Ahhh" I thought to myself as I drew a deep whiff through my sleepy nostrils.

The temperature in the house was just right - I didn't even need to put on underwear, much less pants.

Being my usual impatient self, I retrieved a beer from the smelly fridge and guzzled it to the tempo of the drip, drip, dripping coffee maker.

Not having a clean spoon, I broke a twig off the dead plant on the windowsill with which to stir the sugar into my coffee.

I retired to the recliner, lit a cigarette, grabbed the remote, and debated with myself:
"Another coffee, or another beer?"
