Shedding some baggage
Let say that today is one of the best days ever. I went to court and finally got rid of the X. Life is good now. I can backpack when ever I want to. I can kayak when ever I want to. Hell now I can leave seat up all the time. I'm throwing a party at the club on Eielson Air Force base this friday night. I'm putting 300 down on the bar for my promotion to sergeant and to celebrate the divorce be there or be square. After this party im going to have to go on the wagon though. My liver told me the other night that he can't handle it anymore.

I just don't get it. Why would you be happy that you flopped one of the most important things in your life.

Like Janice said--"Freedom 's just another word for nothin left to loose."

My x has been divorced at least twice. Maybe more by now. She's a professional failure then.
LOL!!!!!!

Me, I've only been divorced once. I'm still a rookie.

Kodiakman, that's right, once a cheater, always a cheater. I broke up with my ex while we were dating, but got back together. She did it again 2 years ago, after 21 years. You are saving yourself a lot of heart ache by being done with her now.

On another note, I wish you well in looking for a good honest faithful woman.

Naw. This is a good news thread. No one should be in a bad relationship. There is no excuse for two people to be together if they are misserable.

Divoris-----Its to easy
Does any one ellse notice that today 51% of all people to get married will get divorised??? Maybe that is because getting a divorise is to easy or too commen in socity so people will get divorised other than work things out.

No one should be miserable, so why make me miserable by telling me about the end of your relationship and how much you despise her.

Everyoone makes different choices and not everyone will agree with the choices someone else makes. After divorce I made my choice - NEVER AGAIN !!!! - never again will ever let someone have a chance of hurting me the way I was hurt. It leaves a lot of time for backpacking and is very freeing to abandon the game and let the rest of the worlds sex addicts go to heck their own way.

It's a commitment
I've been married 30 years. I made a commitment. Sometimes it's hard, but so is everything else in life. You try to work it through, as no one is perfect. I still go hiking, canoeing & snowshoeing pretty much when I want. I think she's happy to have me out of the house:-)
