WITNESS FOUND!

A WITNESS has reportedly stepped forward in the mysterious disappearance of two females in Hot Springs, NC over the weekend. According to local sources, an un-named male came into the campground about 1am, and parked his truck a few feet away. The witness stated that the man stepped out of his vehicle, peered into the tents once or twice, and then came over to where he and his friend were standing around a fire.

"We told him that we didn't know anything about some girls who were supposed to be looking for him. We even said that this was a family campground, and we didn't have those type of girls here."

When asked what the un-named male did next, the witness replied that he 'peered into the tents' once or twice, even asked 'if they were dead' yet, and then started setting up his own tent. Local authorities have suppressed further details regarding these recent developments.

IN A RELATED STORY, Forensics has released further evidence regarding the last known campsite of the missing pair.

* In the hollow of a dead tree, a half-used stick of margarine was found.

* Chocolate, milk and confectioner's sugar were found on the ground nearby.

* Found laying on a rock of the fire circle, a foil safety cap for maple syrup.”
