I tried it in my small home town back in the 80's. Had to get a real job after I got married...so after 4 years I gave it up. Then I became the assistant manager of the local sporting goods store and got to select and purchase their gear for them. It was a great experience though...never heard so many fish, bear and rattlesnake stories in all my life :) I sold TNF, Marmot, MSR , Peak1 gear... as well as some others that didn't survive like Camp7, Wilderness Experience, Sierra West, etc.”

Having one's own business is not that easy, a lot of hard work and sacrifices are required. Plus 50% of business' fail in the first 2 years, then another 30% fold up in the next 2 years. Think very carefully before investing money in a business.”

I allready have my vendors license and accounts set up with MANY of companies. Just trying to find a location. Then comes the LOAN.
