Patton cave&HNF.

“What a great weekend.My club had a small turnout only 2 but that is better then none at all.We did 11.5 miles and 4.5 miles of it was bushwacking and scrmbling on the rocks by the lake.We also went to patton cave to explore and that was a blast.Sunday we saw a bald eagle and that was a real treat.So I hope everyone else had a great weekeend.

“I've been there before. That's where our Troop always does the intro to Backpacking trip. They hike to the cave, camp and hike out. It really is a great trip. The cave is kinda short, it just leads to a sinkhole about 50 feet into the hill side.
I was actually south this weekend too, only I was at Sullivan cave doing a little spelunking. What a fun sport.”
