Do you guys all know the series on TLC, the personal stories. They have Baby Story, Wedding Story, Dating Story, Makeover Story, etc. I love watching Makeover Story at my mom's house (no sattelite at my house). It is so cute when a couple goes on and gets made over and it adds this new excitement to the relationship and they are all in love and hot for each other. Well anyway, my little sis is studying cosmetology, so Belowzero and I agreed to be her guinea pigs yesterday. She gave us both really great cuts and colors. It was really fun and it kinda' gave us a new little spark. Do you think that it is a good idea to make a big outer appearance change every once in awhile to give yourself a kick start?

Yeah, sometimes you get in a hair rut and just need a change! I tried to go real short with my hair a few months ago, but realized it wouldn't work with my baby fine hair. I'm back to the same old style. :(

It couldn`t hurt any,.. after all, it shows you cared enough to try to spark the fires, that feed the flames of passion.

To ever get anything lasting out of any relationship, you must add something new to it to keep it growing and only by giving to it always will there be plenty to be gotten from it.

When two people are willing to give something, or give up something for love, it causes love to grow and flower in many unexpected ways!

I wish you the best!

I like to make a big change every once in awhile. I go through bouts, growing my hair out, it gets nice and long and then i cut it all off. It's short now and im wishing it was long again.

I think your short hair looks good Sassafras.

I'm glad other guys posted to the thread. After I posted I was afraid it was going to be just me and a buncha chicks posting about our hair. SHEW! That was close!

i shave my a$$ once in a while. it really turns running girl on. due to the fact that i am balding, there isn't many options for hair styles. once in a while i'll gain 20 pounds, then i'll lose it. change is good.

I cut my own. Pretty much the same every time, although it gradually has gotten shorter and shorter over the years.

I shave my head 3 times a week.
My wife likes it better than my partially balding hair style.

Wierd part is women are always rubbing my head.....my wife claims that's why I shave it :)

I do the same thing you do Sass. I grow it out and then I cut it, grow it out, cut it short. It is short now and I like it, but in a couple months I'll be thinking, "I love long braids, I wish I could put my hair in some braids."

You were right the first time, Nige. This is a Chick Thread and you were the first guy to post to it, LOL.

What is it with kids today?

They're like crazy people, shaving their heads to reduce aerodynamic drag on the trail... That's Not Right!

AHHHHH YES,,,,,, molting!!!!!!

I haven't had a major change in years. I lost the long hair in '94, kept bangs and a part for a number of years and for the past 2 yrs I've been shaving it with 1 1/4 clipper attachment or less. I'm diggin the short hair thing. Facial hair changes more frequently. I have been sportin this western style 'stash and soul patch since I shaved the chin. I miss that, I learned in college that scratchin' your fuzzy chin, makes you appear smart!!! LOL. I even have a few of those long "mad scientist" eyebrow hairs going. KEWL!

Clothing and color schemes have remain constant for years. Earthy.

Are we in the ladies bathroom????

Geez, I haven't changed my look much since I grew this moustache about 1980.

I've just appropriated a bit more... gravitas.

Time for me to get a haircut. The fleece neck gaitor that I wore backpacking this weekend put a million knots in my long hair. Maybe a shoulder length style would be better.

that's cool, newgirl :-) i need a new hairstyle, too! lately, Tarpie has been making me wear pigtails, tehehe!

and speaking of the Dating Story...anyone ever watch other dating shows on during the day, like Deja View? they're soooo funny!! some of them are rather painful, like Elimidate...3 girls or guys competing for one girl or guy...all on one date, at the same time!! barf! and then there's Cheaters...grossness. sheesh, you'd think someone made me watch those crappy shows!

I had long hair when I was younger. My wife cut my hair for years. I just kept having her cut it more frequent and shorter. One day a couple years ago, I decided to do something really different. Went to the barber and had him give me a Flat Top. Boy was the wife surprised!!! Been that way since. I really love it in the summer, just have to be careful. It will sun burn if not careful.

Lyra, I think pigtails are adorable. However, I'm sure I don't like them for the same reason Tarp is down with them. Also, I should add a disclaimer in here, I hate Dating Story and Wedding Story. It is the ultimate in annoying programing. I love Baby Story and Make-Over Story.

i haven't seen Makeover Story, and Baby Story only like once. i used to watch Wedding Story and Dating Story every day in college...i would come home from class, and every single day, my roommate Bethany would be crying her eyes out watching Wedding Story, LOL!! she was the first of my good friends to get married... :-)

I get a kick out of Dating Story, what a riot some of those dates are! Makes me happy to stay home and curl up with a good book! Some of the other dating shows are even better.
