What's the largest TT trip?

“Just interested if anyone knew what's the largest attendance for a TT trip? This weekend's Savage Gulf trip has around 20+ going. Thats one big backcountry party. With a group that size what special precautions or extra LNT practices are usually followed?”

“I counted 28 plus animals and a few day hikers at the TC Cookoff, LNT in Savage? Oh that we could really educate the peeps that hike before us.....”

This cookoff idea is still so foreign to the 'nashville' crowd -- that if we make it more than five miles, a lot of folks will balk.

The 2.5 was nice.. but another location is fine with me. Personally, I think with some suitable security persons about, we can still use the Small Wilds site.

I'm with JoshMan. He has already contacted some of the major manufacturers of camp gear -- and I figure in conjunction with that -- we could have a huge drawing card.

Few of us would pass up a chance to get piece of equipment to use, for free, cos we won it, doing what we already do well. WD wants tougher entry guidelines, JoshMan wants more participation -- can we find middle ground?

Do we want this thing to push the envelope a little?.. Longer, tougher, packweight rules?”
