“It's 4 to 5 hours from the border.I think .Charles Deam Wilderness.Don't know what trail yet.”

“Hey whats going on Michigan Backpackers?My club is going on a backpacking trip to Manistee Nataional Forest.We are going to do 9.6 miles of The North Country Trail.We are going to start at the 40St Trailhead and go north to M-20 Trailhead.We will need a car shuttle.Please let me know who wants to go.

“I got to say this.For one my club is a great group of people that are very frendly and easy to get along with.

I have tryed very hard to get some of the Michigan TT'ers to go on my Michigan trips but I guess you guys think I am to strange or something?

Not once have I ever had anyone in my club tell me that I am doing something wrong.

I always try to make the trips fun and enjoyable.

I am just trying to make more new friends and get more club members thats all.

I look at my club as a family.I have over 25 members in my club that are active and we all get along.

I just hope in the future I can get more Michigan TT'ers to come out on my clubs trips.

“Not to speak for lesubtil BUT I think he may have been referring to you sounding possesive of your club. It does kinda stand out to me. Not trying to be a jerk. I am a member of a "hiking club" (Mi Mountaineers) couldnt tell ya whose idea it was.”

“Well not to sound like a jerk but ya I am.

The club has been one of the best things to happen to me in a long time.And I put alot of effort into it.

Look I am not mad at anyone but I sometimes think I am just talking to air when comes to getting Michigan backpackers to join the club.

I have posted lots of invites and I will cont to do so.

I just want everyone to know that I get along with everyone and the clubs door is always open and ready for new members.
