Just run it through your water filter.

vyx..do what i do..scrape off the mold and then go trade it to some other college slackers next door or some friends for some other kinda food..or just as a gift..they won't know and you might get somthing in return....then goto a fast food place that serves breakfast and load up on free packs of jelly..good at home and on the trail....

Go ahead and scrape it off then eat it. You probably have eaten worse and didn't know it. Do you know how many bugs and there eggs are allowed in food before it is cosidered harmful by the goverment.
