Plus a first round draft choice
Look, if we would have traded New Mexico for Quebec we could have won that damn hockey game!

Do they speak Spanglish in Ottowa?
Hmmm... New Mexico USA for Quebec. Can we keep our health system, US Dollars, red and green chili? Can we charge Texans and Oklahomans extra for skiing? What about salmon fishing rights?

I'm not sure, Aero, but I don't think it will work.

A coworker of mine owned a video store in Quebec, stanlee. He had the nerve to have his sign in English on one side and French on the other and used the same size letters on both sides (the law says the French has to be larger). His shop actually ended up on the 9 o'clock news like it was a murder scene or something. Guess why he sold and moved here?

We'd be happy to have you in the United States of North America.

Loosely translated a skeezer is any woman. Make up your own specifics.

In Quebec, not only do the English lettering in signs/ads have to be 1/2 the size of the French text, they have to be 1/2 lighter ie. black for French and gray for English. We have "Language Cops" going to business' with charts and rulers checking for infractions...what a waste of money.
