Hiking GSMNP 3/14 - 3/17

“I am hiking on the AT in the Smokies from Newfound Gap to Davenport Gap on 3-14 to 3-17. I will be hiking on Thur evening to Ice Water Spring shelter, then on to Tri-Corner Knob on Fri, then Cosby shelter on Sat., then hiking out on Sun. I have a shuttle for 2 additional people from Deep Creek ranger station to Newfound Gap on Thurs, and I have reservations for the shelters for 4 additional people on those nights. Sorry this is such short notice, but I had four people cancel on me @ the last moment. I will hold these reservations until Fri of this week, if anyone is interested please let me know. As of right now it is me and 1 other person going.”

“When I hiked that section, day one I hiked from Newfound Gap to Peck's Corner. Second day Peck's to Tricorner Knob. Third day to Cosby Knob and then the last day hiked to Davenport Gap. Used Laurel Springs shuttle. It was a very rewarding hike. Hope you enjoy every moment of your hike.”
