Just for fun, here's a couple facts I dug up on G00SES...er, geese:

1. The female is called a goose (Scully gleefully teased me about that little factoid), while the male is a gander. (Note to self...change trailname to gander.)
2. Forcible feeding is used to fatten geese and to enlarge the liver for use in making pâté de foie gras. (Care for some fava beans and a nice chianti?)
3. Speaking of food...in Great Britain they have found a solution to family disagreements about whether to have turkey or goose for holiday dinner. Instead of using corn bread stuffing inside the turkey, they might put a pheasant inside a goose and then place the goose inside a turkey. Interesting
4. A goose is the official state bird of Hawaii, and is called a nene. (Hmmmmmm, that would be an awesome place for a...honeymoon...)(where's a golden egg when ya' need one?!?!)”
