What is the best way ...
I will be flying in a week and can't take my stove on the plane so I will use a pepsi can stove. After arriving, I plan on a stop at Home Depot for denatured alcohol, but don't really want to carry the metal can with me. Any suggestions?

Try a used plastic soda bottle.

Real Cuban rum in a nalgene bottle.

Oh wait, that's not quite what you meant. Nevermind.

Any confusion in this area can lead to some very poor eyesight.

I use an empty nail polish remover bottle. Is flat so it fits in an outside pocket easy, and doesn't leak.

They make a flask for booze that is flat and about the right size ,also the cap would be good for measuring. Campmore's got em.

buy Everclear - then it does not matter if you drink it - other than you might not have any left to cook with that is

Exactly Hog...you nailed my sentiment....Hydrogen Peroxide bottles work the best...they are better built and the caps stay tighter..Skip home depot..go to Walmart you can get both there...

If you put non-ethyl alcohol in a beverage container, please label it appropriately. You don't want you or your friends to visit the Pathman.

The TinCanStoveMan said isopropyl alcohol dry gas that you get for your car's gas tank is the best fuel. They already come in a plastic bottle. It may leak though - I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Sauron packed it that way at Savage Gulf. Worked just fine - no leaks.

I use a little 9 oz./0.3 liter SIGG fuel bottle for weekend trips. I find that liquids don't pour very well out of fuel bottles so I bought one of those REI Super Pour Spouts to save any fuel that might get lost from dribbling.

Trangia makes a plastic alcohol fuel bottle with a pour spout in half liter and liter sizes. Sturdy and doesn't leak.

I use an 8 ounce nalgene bottle for weekend trips. You can tighten them without fear of breaking them and they seal nicely. I've had bad experience with other recycled bottles not necessarily made to handle temperature extremes or repeated use. The caps don't seal or even crack in cold weather when tightened. Maybe I over tighten them but it was hard to tell my hands were cold also!

I recall seeing Steve Hiker carring the can.
