chinook sleeping bags

“Does anyone have any knowledge about these chinook sleeping bags? they only weigh around a pound and are about 70 bucks. I do believe they are thinsolate if Im not mistaken. do they compress? anyone have any other ideas for agood bag?”

“My local Scout Shop carries them. They weren't able to provide me with much (any) info. The web search revealed little. The size is intriguing, as is the weight. Maybe if you have a local Scout shop, your clerk would be more knowledgable.”
