If you have a disability and the paperwork to prove it you my be able to obtain a "FREE" NPS Pass for life. This pass is called the "GOLDEN ACCESS PASSPORT" This is not the "GOLDEN AGE PASSPORT" which is for shall we say, the not so young people.
I paid $50.00 per year for the pass for several years until a friend informed me of the Free pass.
This pass will get you and everone in your car into any National Park free of charge and half price on camping fees, cave tours (For the holder only for caves) and use fees at the following areas: BLM, F&W, BofR, ACofE, TVA, NPS, and FS. It is not Valid for special recreation permit fee. (what ever that is)
Try it, it cant hurt anything. I got mine for an accident while on active duty USN.”
