Milwaukee Construction Warning

“Just drove through Milwaukee today, if you're heading to the northwoods, Door County, or if you're heading south from north of Milwaukee,any route that puts you on I-94 & I-43 through downtown Milwaukee, BEWARE, Monday, March 18 they're begining deconstruction. I don't know the construction plan, but it looked like they might be closing multiple lanes”

“It was pretty tight driving back in November, too. The biggest highway project in the history of Wisconsin, the rebuilding of the main freeway interchange setup downtown Milwaukee, is going to be affecting motorists for some time to come. Fortunately I can swing down through Madison and around Milwaukee and Chicago when I travel to Michigan. Just means I have to skip stopping at the Bass Pro Shops mega store near Great America.”
