River to River Trail

“Looking for backpacking companions. I am 50, but have taken trips with other guys from 18 to 45. I am laid back and easy to get along with. The problem is a have no frineds who like to backpack. I can go it alone, but sharing the scenery with others is much more fun.

Time and date are very flexible.”

As far as the river to river trail my club has no trips planned for that trail this year.

“What part of the trail are you interested in doing? I have done the section from Garden of the Gods to Eddyville and might be interested in checking out a couple of the other sections.”

Its going to be 25 miles.I don't know where we are going to start at yet.

“I was thinking of late May, early June. I am open to suggestions on what section. Want to keep the trip down to 3 or 4 guys (male and/or female is ok. I am married and not looking, but a hiking comapnion is a hiking companion)and any age is OK as long as over 18 (I am not into babysitting).

The last time I did this I hooked up with a 24 y/o carpenter and his dog and an 18 y/o college kid. we had fun. We met a few wqeeks before the trip to make sure there were no axe murderers and th kids Dad called to make sure I was not a molester. I must have passed muster cause they both went (and the dog) and we all had fun. Lost touch with the carpenter, but still email the kid he is in a bible college in CA.
