otter creek trail is a loop w/ connectors in the monongahela nat'l forest near elkins. in PA, near the WV border is the quebec run loop, smaller, but scenic from what i hear.

Pick Up Some OxyContin While You're There
So just WHERE are you gonna be stuck in WV? This'll help in suggesting a "nearby" trail.

Otter Creek Wilderness has loops of 9, 15, and 20 from the headwaters end.

Dolly Sods Wilderness has a loop of 12 that I know of and is very scenic and worth dead-heading.

Flat Rock Plains/Roaring Plains has some of the highest plateaus with nice views.
Look for "Jonathan Jessup's Photo Page" for photos and maps.
The Canyon Rim Trail is real nice and you can make a loop of about 6 miles that will take you back to the Roaring Plains Trail.
