Where should I go hike near Fresno CA t his week

“Lower elevations would be good too since we just had a good snow storme. I can't waist the chance for a little backpacking durring spring break. Most of my usual spots are under a dozen feet of snow, so I'm open for sudgestions.

“Hey thinair! Saw you signed my Trailhead Register...thanks. How far do you want to drive? One trip I'm going to do in May is Chilnualna Falls in Wawona (Yosemite). You might be able to go there now without worrying too much about the snow.

If you want to drive a little more, Henry Coe State Park is a low elevation alternative. I've backpacked there twice before. Did a 15 mile loop in three days. Don't let the mileage fool you, this place is pretty tough. If you haven't looked at the ”
