So what kinda shirts do most of you use for keeping you dry??

Capilene, is what I prefer but is getting to be expensive!

I use 100% polyester clothes to keep me dry. Short sleeve for warm weather and long for cold.

100% Nylon pants.

Wickers
I like "cool max" t-shirts, but a 50% polyester/50% cotton mix is comfortable, cheap & dries fast.

Gotta Love Capilene
You're right its getting kinda pricey, but it feels and works great and seems to last forever. We've also had pretty good luck with EMS house brand stuff, Bergelene

I have some coolmax t shirts that are nice, got em for $8 at sierra trading posts bargain barn, Hind makes really nice clothing meant for runners, I have a long sleeve from them. I just picked up a long sleeve button down lightweight poly shirt. Its has a nice airvent in back, two huge pockets up front. I figure that in hot weather that it will be perfect, roll up the sleeves and un button it...

I found Lifa Prolite polypro dries faster than Capilene and doesn't feel as wet next to your skin when it's soaked with sweat, but it doesn't have as nice a finish.

Polypro top & bottom when it's cold outside. Also use a 100% polyester pullover with a hood. I gave up on fleese cause it's bluky.
100% nylon pants with zip off legs.
For warm days I use a mesh nylon shirt & swimming shorts.

Duofold. The secret to wicking is to wear a very thin inner layer. I wear a duofold poly T-shirt. Very thin material. I wear duofold boxer briefs also.

Wicker is also the practice of witchcraft. That explains how this stuff works, it's magic Oooohhhhh!

I use polyproylene single jersey knit 160gsm tops and bottoms for cold weather. For hot weather Polartec Powerdry T-Shirts.

I'm with walkin dude on this one...i found some cheap polypro's at target..and use them as a base when it's cool out. with nylon zipoffs i scored at wal-mart....and either a polyester addidas jersey i found at JCP..or a polyester t-shirt i found at target....I'll go high dollar once i find out these wear out fast or don't serve their purpose...but this method has worked quiet awhile now

nothing at all
if you hike nude, then you don;t have to worry about wicking moisture off your person...just spread yourself to the wind, and viola` your dry. just watch out that you don';t spread yourself too much and entice a bear to come up behind and poke ya...LOL. =[:-p
