Great Weekend!

“Well the trip was Great and I completed a section of AT finally!!
Mothergoose was with us and yesterday she hit 2000 miles of her journey. She had a hard week in the rain last week but the weekend was great. I think she had thoughts of stealing my lucky earrings because they make the rain stay away...they have been true to me for 3 years now....LOL
I said a healing for her no rain...LOL
The nights were cold but we made it with no problems.

“What is considered a section of the AT? How much did we do with Joyce last fall? I'm happy that you're happy!”

“hehe.. a section?.. lol.. well.. boyz there are large sections.. and dem smaller ones.. but most of us like them dere large ones when we can get them..”

“Well I had like 5 miles between two sections I did.... but I did more just to have fun... we did about 17 miles. I stopped before goin up Mt. Rogers...don't want to do that... did the easy way came down. ..LOL

Hey Mary you did a section. Now I need to close the gap on that one too...... from Davenport Gap to Max Patch ahh what I would give for another weekend off. Until next month.

I am going to be planning a trip to do some of the AT next year for the club.Don't know which part though.

I have done some AT hikes with my hiking club which I planned. They went very well. We always have a great time.
