I'd give away my Y2K scare filter bottle, but don't think anyone would get much use out of it... How about my wife? Can someone use a wife? Wouldn't even have to pay shipping.

Hey Newgirl!
Somebody mentioned that you might need a backpack. This Lowe Alpine would probably be good for you!

Don't wait! This is the current model that is probably the closest. It is seven or so years old, but very lightly used.

Lowe Alpine

Alright, my turn. After getting my new sleeping bag, I have one that I will give away. The bag is in great shape, slept in it four times. Here is a link to it off of ebay, which is where I bought it from.

It IS heavy, but good. I'd like it to have a good home. First come, first served. You pay only shipping. If interested, please email me at:

Lagtis, the heavy factor might be a real problem for me. I'm small and nervous about my pack weight as it is. How heavy is heavy?
newgirl

It's 5 1/4 lbs. My sister has the same one and she carrries a pack weight of 25-30 lbs. It's her heaviest item. Maybe you or some one else could use it for just kickin' around or car campin'.

laqtis, if newgirl doesn't want it I'll gladly take it off your hands. I need a 0 degree bag for winter sierra trips. My current 20 bag has kept me in the lower elevations during winter.

I'll email ya :)

Did you get my email? This guy was talking about going for the higher end stuff, spending big money he doesn't have- When he uses this pack, he'll see that you don't have to pay like $400 for a comfortable pack- I'm sure he'll get many, many miles out of it like you did- Thanks again, Bro.

Hey CMB....
I only possess a Kelty Coyote 4500, and a sleeping bag. I literally have no other gear. I was sharing stuff with a friend of mine. I can't afford to spend a heck of a lot, but I had heard thru the grapevine that you might know about some deals for the stuff I'm needing. Which, is everything.

Just to give you an idea of what I've been looking into: REI Half dome plus 2 and it's footprint, a pocket rocket, a sleeping pad....whatever kind, and just simple stuff. I'm not asking for these specific things, I'm just letting you know what kinds of things I was looking at.

Thanks for any help you might lend me......or anyone else for that matter!

I hope they make everyone happy.

CMB......
For whatever reason....I can't get my profile to change....just take out the http: stuff and you can email me directly.

The $$ I can afford isn't a heck of alot right now. My "dreams" include: REI Half Dome Plus 2 w/footprint; an Exped downfilled airmatress, a pocket rocket and stuff to go with. Like I said... those are my DREAMS. I'm sure in time I'll get them...but anything similar will do just fine and dandy too. Send me a list of what you have and the price tags attached, and I'll get right back to you.

Ok the pocket rocket is a great stove I have one and I love it.

As far as the tent goes I will look around for something in the same range as that tent.

Send me a email ok.

Miss Opie, if coyote doesn't want the ultralite, its yours.

PS, I think the Ridgerest has a small piece torm out of one side (4" x 3"), that makes no difference if you put it by your feet.

Either would be better than the foam pad that I currently have. Just let me know what coyote doesnt want!

Ok, coyote, email your preferance and an address, Miss Opie email your address. I should be able to mail on Thursday. I think it is a toss up between the two. Ridgerest a little bulkier, but very light and maybe a little more comfy. Ultralite is that, and very compact. As a self inflater, subject to puncture.
