I just made a HUGE!!! quantity last night and will dehydrate some tonight...that is after I patch up my dehydrator...I ummmmmmmmmmmm melted it as I had it sitting on my burner on the stove and accidently turned on the wrong burner and the next thing I knew I had a funny odor coming from the kitchen...I'm soooooo pissed! Heavy duty plastic and duct tape...should do the trick...or a new dehydrator.

The time will vary depending on what you have in it...I did mine for @ 7 hours, watch the ham as it has lots of moisture in it. I added 1 cup of water to the 2 1/2 cup dried mixture and...well, you saw it...it was decadently delicious. Good luck.”

“I turned it off this morning after about 11 hours in the dehydrator. It seemed to be pretty dried out. I put it in a freezer bag and into the freezer for safe keeping. I'll try it sometime like you said to fix and see how it rehydrates. Thanks for getting back to me.”

“I have the St Croix. It's the smallest of the boats and I got a really great deal on it. She's like 14'9" or so. If I could have afforded it I might have gotten a 16 footer, I have to really pack carefully. there isn't alot of room to pack the house and also to have room for me and Khatru. She handles like a dream,,,very responsive. Great boat!!! I'm very happy. and I can manhandle it by myself...here is a point of advice...get the roof rack NOW...forget those stupid spongy things...I did more damage to my vehicle in 1 year than I did in 6, scratches and dings and such...just get the rack now...and don't worry about it...its just part of the cost of doing business....and...Sierra Trading Post has some GREAT deals on PFD's...get a good one that is comfortable...forget walmart...they got crap!

And when you go to get on water...call ahead to get water levels.”
