“If you don't live in a 2 tv household or just want to spend time with your mate, you can end up watching some shows you don't really want to, just to be together. Sometimes my husband is stuck watching what I want and sometimes it's the other way around. If I really want to see something different, I go in the bedroom where the other tv is.

I saw the batchelor on a talk show. He seems okay. He's an ER doctor. He had someone tell him to apply for the show, so he many not be a total horny guy, not that there is anything wrong with that.”

My prediction is that he ends up chosing Susan or Moana, but doesn't end up marrying any of them.

I still say the whole premise is immoral...but I need to watch to analyze the situation.”

“Moana is way too emotional, and I believe has a bit of unstablity. I agree that Susan isnt really in it for the love thing, but I really like Sarah and think she is the most real one out of the bunch. Of course he wont choose her though.”

“hey Phil, Sarah doesn't have a teaching position in Nashville. She had to give it up to do the show. Last night where they showed her with a kindergarden class wasn't real. The school wouldn't allow her to film it with her old class. No telling where the kids came from.”

She still lives in town and from what is in the paper she is trying to get back on teaching. The Dr still lives here also but no sightings..lol.

“Phil, just for you. In todays paper it said that the kids shown were kids from her kindergarden class. ABC called the kid's parents asking them to bring the kids to Percy Warner park to tape a segment for a show involving Sarah. That is all they were told. The parents got no pay and they had to sign contracts swearing them to secrecy. The contract threatened parents with multimillion-dollar lawsuits if they spilled the beans.”

15 year old gang-banger: "Hey kid. What are you in for?"

5 year old kid: "I spilled the beans about the bachelor...or something like that."

Gang banger: "Tough kid. Maybe they will let you out to go to college!"

5 year old: "I doubt it. My parents lost the house in a lawsuit or something."”

“One of the girls I work with says he's been in the pub a few times and can't believe I don't remember him. I had to gently remind her that I am far to interested in making sure the fairer sex is taken care of to be memorizing the guys that walk in the pub.”

I don't think he will end up with any of them in the long run. Sarah from Nashville seems to be the best marrying material, but I am not sure there is enough sizzle there.

I couldn't imagine dating more than one girl at once on a serious basis...nice concept on paper...unreal in practice.

“Phil, one of the local stations went looking for both of them the night it aired.
Neither one could be found. Seems they were holed up but not with each other.
They did interview the guy and he played it straight not saying a word. Even his roommates don't have a clue but they tell him what they think about each girl during the show since they watch it together.”

“I'm not watching the show, but my mom said one gal seemed a little crazy. There always seems to be one in the bunch. I wonder if they are "plants" to make the show more controversial.

One show's crazy woman was not let go for way into the show. It makes me wonder if the show's producers ask the batchelor to keep the crazy ones around for a while to help to keep the show interesting.”

“Phil, according to Richard Hatch, the nude gay guy who won the first Survivor show and didn't pay taxes on the money (very dumb), he said the camera people were feeding some of the contestants, I guess the ones they wanted to stay around a while. I don't know if it's true, but it led me to think the producers are influencing the outcome to a certain point.

Btw, Hatch said because he brought up the producers were cheating on the show, they said they would pay his taxes on what he won. Now that actually sounds like Hatch was trying to extort the producers into paying his taxes if any of it is true.”

She got pissed when the other girls didn't like her and set out to "show them" by getting him.

Sarah is reportedly dating Drew Bennett's roommate Matt


Looks like The Bachelor might be available again.

Vandy ER doc Travis Stork gave Nashville kindergarten teacher Sarah Stone a promise of a new relationship (and some bling) on Monday's finale of ABC's The Bachelor: Paris.

But another guy may be in the picture, though that guy, Matt Lauderdale — roommate and business partner of Titans star receiver Drew Bennett — insisted last night that he and Sarah are "just friends."

But several people who know the two and have seen them together say they look very much like a couple. On Tuesday night in particular, some folks at the Corner Pub in Green Hills say Sarah and Matt were touching, hugging, flirting and looking very much like a couple.

Matt says there is no romance.

“We’re strictly just friends. I’ve been friends with Sarah for a long time,” said Matt, who added that he and Sarah met through Drew’s girlfriend, Heather.

So why do people say you and Sarah are dating, Matt?

“I’m not sure.”

How about this canoodling with Sarah on Tuesday night?

Matt sighs.

“I hang out with Drew a lot, too, and I hope people don’t say we’re dating, too,” he said.

Sarah and Matt also were spotted having dinner at Belle Meade eatery Sperry’s Friday night, and then Sarah and Matt went to a private post-Kid Rock concert party that same night at Layl’A Rul.

Last Tuesday, the two spent quite a bit of time talking together at the Nashville Lifestyles’ Singles in the City party at the same hot spot, Layl’A Rul, though they arrived separately.

And Sarah and Matt have been seen in a 7 a.m. spin class at the Green Hills YMCA, which is also where Travis works out. Maybe they should call the “Y” the “Triangle.” But I digress.

Neither Sarah nor Drew returned phone calls yesterday.

So who is this Matt guy? He grew up outside San Francisco, and has been friends with Drew Bennett since high school. But he came out to Nashville to work in a high-profile Music Row artist-management company.

Matt, 27, left that job eight months ago to start his own sports-management company, and has worked with Drew, Titans backup quarterback Billy Volek and Predators goalie Tomas Vokoun.

Matt also is starting an Internet company to assist with country-music artist management, and has run Drew’s charity fundraiser events here in town, including a recent wheelchair basketball game.

His last known romantic relationship ended about five weeks ago, when he and a Nashville Lifestyles magazine ad saleswoman Liz Daniel broke off a four-month, off-and-on relationship.

Liz declined to talk about Matt or her relationship with him, but she did say, laughing, “I’ll be happy to meet Travis.”

Travis to co-host a bachelor auction

Meanwhile, Travis Stork has agreed to be part of a bachelor/bachelorette auction April 27 at the Vanderbilt Student Life Center, an event hosted by radio personality Lulu of 102.5 Venus-FM and Dana DeSilvio, a Nashvillian who was on the first series of The Biggest Loser. The money will go to the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Tennessee chapter.

Travis hasn’t actually (yet) agreed to be a bachelor, but he will be the big VIP host, sharing microphone duties with yours truly. And believe me, it won’t be hard to tell us apart.

Those who will be “auctioned” for a date include Kats QB Clint Stoerner, Kats player Joe Manucci, Mark Stuart of Christian band Audio Adrenaline and Ludacris producer Craig King. The ladies on the auction block include WKDF radio personality Becca, a Titans cheerleader to be named later, Venus-FM personality Trish Vogel and plastic surgery Dr. Stephanie Stover.

The $75 tix include food, wine and spirits. You can get them at Venus offices at 1828 Murfreesboro Pike (near the airport) noon-4 p.m. March 24 and March 31. You can also buy tickets at Parisian in CoolSprings Galleria noon-4 p.m. March 25 and April 1.”

“Wonder what is really going on. Have Travis and Sarah done the talkshow scene yet?

One thing for sure about the bachelor series...one, two or three girls get hurt pretty bad...guaranteed.”

“Phil, from the looks of things here they aren't together. I guess having to stay away from each other while the show is on is hard to do esp. living in the same town. What is that saying "Out of Sight Out of Mind" or something like that.”

“ewker - It would seem like starting with 25 hot women would be a highly successful way to find a mate quickly. But I think the whole premise is flawed. You cannot develop an intimate relationship with 2, 3 or 4 girls at once that will be strong. In fact, it could create jealousy that will be supressed at first, but surface as a problem later.

Sarah had to watch Travis on TV go into the "fantasy suite" with Moana and Susan...could raise some doubts!!

Well, I will wait and see if they have really called it quits...however, if they were maddly in love we would probably know it.”

“Phil, The true test comes when you get back to reality. No longer do you have all expense paid weekend trip to Italy, Switzerland, Austria, etc. When your seeing these women in a dream world setting you could fall for anyone one of them and vice versa.
