NC beat me to it.

Do you skin the little bastards before you dehydrate them?

Haha! The ratitulli` seemed to do fine in the drier but the egg plant went a little mushy.

I've been taking whatever is left over from cooking and just throwing it in or mixing it in. I needed half a can of tomato paste for the ratitulli` so I took the other half and mixed it with some wild rice I had cooked and waiting for the drier. Added some white wine, fresh thyme and diced red peppers. Dried out beautifully. I'm thinking I'll mix it with a half pound of venison burger.

What's in your dehydrator?

My dehydrater is full of hot air, not unlike a few TT'ers I have seen post. :))

You can dehydrate one of those frozen stir fry bags with the sauce in a separate packet, just bring the packet, rehydrate, toss in the skillet, done.
