The ratitulli` seemed to do fine in the drier but the egg plant went a little mushy. I've been taking whatever is left over from cooking and just throwing it in or mixing it in. I needed half a can of tomato paste for the ratitulli` so I took the other half and mixed it with some wild rice I had cooked and waiting for the drier. Added some white wine, fresh thyme and diced red peppers. Dried out beautifully. I'm thinking I'll mix it with a half pound of venison burger.” 6:06:36 AM 1/11/09 What's in your dehydrator? “Jerky in the dehydrator, right now.” 7:06:51 AM 5/27/09 “Started just getting the "frozen vegetables" and popping them in the deydrator...works great.” 7:19:56 AM 5/27/09 “this reminds me, i gotta start prepping some meals for my Glacier trip in a couple of months. menu planning... hmmmmmmmmmm” 8:01:23 AM 5/27/09 “My dehydrater is full of hot air, not unlike a few TT'ers I have seen post. :))” 8:05:02 AM 5/27/09 “I really would like to do stir fry on the trail...trying to figure out a good recipe” 8:06:45 AM 5/27/09 “You can dehydrate one of those frozen stir fry bags with the sauce in a separate packet, just bring the packet, rehydrate, toss in the skillet, done.” 8:16:05 AM 5/27/09 4:40:00 PM 11/28/10
