1. Favorite Team? Yankees (I know, I know, everyone hates them)

2. DH or no DH? DH. Somebody told me the National League is the only pro league in the world that has the pitchers go to the plate. That's stinky.

3. AL Cy Young? Mark Mulder

4. NL Cy Young? Randy Johnson

5. AL Pennant? Yankees

6. NL Pennant? Athletics

7. WS Champions? Yankees

8. Strike or no strike? Hope there's not one.

9. Reinstate Shoeless Joe? Sure, why not.

10. Greatest Player of all time? Joe Dimaggio.

I LOVE baseball!

Shoeless Joe Jackson was an outfielder for both the Clevalnd Indians and Chicago White Sox. He was one of the leagues greatest players until he was banned from baseball folowing the famous Black Sox scandal in which several players were paid off by gambling interests to throw the 1918 world series. Shoeless Joe batted over .300 for the series, and was aquitted of any illegalities in a court of law, yet he is still banned to this day, and not allowed to be elected to the Hall of Fame.

It's FINALLY Baseball Season!

If you play in the field, you get a chance to hit. What's so difficult to understand? (buncha AMERICAN Leaguers, haha)

(Did Phil Niekro ever get that 7th HR?)

Favorite Team: Detroit Tigers

Our team is as organized as the government in Afghanistan, but it still has won the World Series twice since the Cleveland Indians did.

Tigers - World Series Champions 2010!

Opening Day Tomorrow for the Augusta GreenJackets! (and it's 'Thirsty Thurday,' coincidentally)

I know, I know... it's a hideous name. Anything to do with GOLF in this town, ya know. The mascot looks like a Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket, only GREEN, LOL.

The hockey team is even worse:

The Augusta... Lynx?

Bonds is un friggin believeable! The Tigers are 0-2. I guess some things never change.

BTW - Quit living in the past RL, and live in the present, but I guess if I were you, I'd have to live in the past because the Tigers HAVE NO FUTURE.

I went to my first game of the season last night. I watch the Cubbies smack the Reds. Man did they look horrible. But anyway, when 9:11 rolled around on the clock the whole stadium stood in silence for that minute. It was amazing feeling. Is this to be come a tradition or is something that will only happen this year in rememberance of 9/11?

Buddha, don't be picking on RL, or you'll have to suffer the wrath of me! LOL!

All things come full circle. The Indians will suck, and the Tigers will kick ass. Its just a matter of time.

I'm just hoping that the Tigers begin to lose loveably this season. Last season they lost in a depressing manner. I think they should trade for some funny players to make the losing more enjoyable.

Any Dodger fans out there? Are you waiting for Barry to go away before you come out of hiding?
Maybe the Giants can schedule a few more games with LA this season.

Folks, no matter how bad it gets for your team, remember that I live in Royals territory. There are 7-8 teams that have a chance to take a pennant. The rest of us are SOL.

I was a big Tiger's fan until I found out that Matt Anderson CUT HIS HAIR... What is up with that??

OK, I'm kidding. I'm still a Tigers fan and I still think Anderson is a hottie even if he lost his locks.

Smiley - Rent the movie: Field of Dreams. It's a great movie. Ray Liotta plays Shoeless Joe.

Just got back from my first game of the season. The A's were spanked by Texas. :(

Had to get up and change seats because of some kids sitting next to me. Way too much sugar in their blood by the eighth inning. The little bastards kept yelling for Bonds all game. Proof that kids are getting stupider.

Records:

Indians 5 wins, 1 loss

Tigers 0 wins, 6 losses

World Series victories since 1960:

Indians 0

Tigers 2

If winning is everything, then on the basis of the facts, the Tigers are infinitely better than the Indians. :)

I love trash talking for a team completely bereft of talent. Ah, but they are my talentless team.
