Britain may require "smart passports" with biometric information in a few years. The Passport Service wants to introduce passport smart cards, which would contain data on either an iris scan or fingerprints, by 2006.

The problem with "hiding out" in Montana is that there are only 900,000 people here; everybody knows you! About 25 years ago (still cold war era) the State Dept. tried to relocate that Russian MIG pilot, who defected by landing his plane in Japan, to, get this.. Phillipsburg, MT. They gave him a new identity as a "Czech Art Dealer". He started dating a girl from our college who was teaching school there. The whole town and half the University of Montana knew about the guy! Right now this is being developed for two markets. Those with severe medical conditions and livestock with more focus on livestock cause that is where the money is.
