IRS
"Irritating Rectal Scratchers"

This is the day I pay my taxes and wonder why. Is it so that my dollars can support programs that better mankind and ease the suffering of the land? Is it paid so that children can become better educated? Or maybe to create and develope more open wild places? Is it used to investigate alternative sources of energy or inner or even outer space?

All of these ideas would be good and useful ways to spend my money, but does the government invite me to its planning board meetings??? NO! What they do is support farmers for not growing crops, They supress the prices that the farmers would need to sell at in order to turn a profit, so that the farmer could invest in new equipment, seed, land. The government supports other nations that will NEVER pay up back. The government subsidises the research of KETCHUP DISPENSERS for the Heinz company. The government won't allow geocaches on nps land, but they will (through stupidity) almost burn down Los Alamos.

As a consumer, I vote everyday with my dollars on what I like, where I like to shop (walmart is my favorite store)(its the only one around here). As a taxpayer, I spent my dollars today...and I'm not happy with what I purchased with my money...I(we) all work too darned hard for our money, to have the government waste our dollars...Tennesee had to close its parks down because of misuse of funds...nps websites shut down because of stupidity...ENOUGH!!!

I WANT A REFUND...I WANT MY MONEY BACK...where's the money back guarantee that we deserve.

get out and vote these PECKERHEADS out of office.

thank you very much...

The problem is that there are thousands of them, if you include the states. How are we gonna get them all out at once?!

It
Really
Sucks

A survey was done quite a few years back, and everyone interviewed thought the bastards ought to be voted out of office, however most everyone thought that their bastard was okay. Whaddaya gonna do with an attitude like that? I believe it was Jefferson who said we should have a revolution every 20 years - we're long overdue. Government ceased long ago to represent the people - it's nothing more than a self-perpetuating pork barrel machine run for the benefit of those in office and big business. Once again I get ready to throw a good deal of last year's income down the black hole of self-employment tax and boondoggle ill-advised spending. Meanwhile, my property taxes have increased almost 1000% in the 30 years I've lived here with NO increase in town services. And the guvmint wonders why groups like the Freemen thrive.

I love the IRS.
1. I work just enough each year to collect the maximum EIC (Earned Income Credit). They just paid me $2,490, almost all of which was EIC.

After all the taxes that I have paid in the past, it is a pleasure to have them paying me.

2. They entertain me. They have gone after me nine times during the last 23 years. I am on their harass list. Twice things have gone to tax court. All the cases have been challenges and I have won every one. A few times it was close, but I always found something that would save the day for me. Then, they usually had to pay interest to me.

I look forward to hearing from the IRS. After the last two audits, I was a little mad. They had backed off after I responded with 100+ pages of proof. I strongly wanted to get them into tax court. So I instigated things myself and filed four years of amended returns. I added another daughter, who had been out of the country, to my EIC claims. I collected for three of the years with interest and it was all legally correct.

Write to me, IRS. Your next audit is overdue.

Ya I also have to say I have never had a problem with the IRS.I always get good money back and I have no kids and I am not marred.

So I guess I have nor reason to get mad at them.

I just wish I could have all the money back though.

That would be sweet!

Bureaucracies are called entities for a reason, they take on a life of their own. And they become self-serving whith the number one priority being self protection and perpetuation. I think Steiny's right. IMHO.
