Whats for lunch?

“I'm defrosting a frozen stuffed pepper which will happily makes a slice of it onto a potato roll, then off for a walk.

When I cook stuffed peppers, I slice them in half the long way and pack them high with the mixture, so then I get to freeze some and just pop them in the microwave.”

“Yummy! I want stuffed peppers now! What do you stuff yours with?”

“What should I do for lunch?

not in walmart but we do have them, they are good...better than frozen and cheaper than a pizza place

I didn't eat lunch because I had a dentist's apt. Sauerkraut and sausage for dinner tonight with mashed taters and corn (so I can mix them up).”

I was visiting some people from El Salvador the other day. On the floor, there was a huge (king-sized pillow case size) bag of corn on the cob and a pile of fresh corn husks that was so big, it just had to be what was left over from another huge bag of corn. They were boiling the corn, then they were going to cut it off the cob, and grind it for tamales. OMG, it's too hard for me to go to the store and buy masa to make tamales. I have to get them ready-made and frozen. I was really fishing around in my mind for some reason to stay for hours until the tamales were ready to eat. I bet they were really, really good.”
