I've got stoup. not quite stew, not quite soup - it's stoup.

Well there's peas, and corn, and green beans, and stew beef, and beef boulion, and parsley, and onion, black pepper (LOTS), sage, thyme, a little cayenne, and a touch of butter.
And biscuits for soppin up.
Whoa momma! Them's some good eatin!

I have found that hot & sour soup is wonderful for colds. It's spicy so it gets your sinus' draining, and it's hot so it helps with sore throats, and seems to ease my coughing some too.
I don't know why, but a big bowl of it really seems to work wonders for me. It may be worth a shot if you like Chineese.

you bet! I hope it helps. It's a cheap fix if it does. The place we go near work sells bowls for $1.60 ea. and quarts for $3.20. That beats the hell out of the $15 minimum you'll spend at the pharmacy for stuff that may or may not do any good.
Cold meds suck since they all had to change their ingredients any way.

A french cruller and a strawberry Coolata from Dunkin' Donuts.

I'm thinkin' a little rum in this Coolata would taste just like a strawberry daiquiri.

They don't even have Dunkin' Donuts out here! What was I thinking when I moved?!?!! Sadly right now the smell of coffee is enough to spark the dry heaves. ;)

At Christmas when we flew to VT, we landed in JFK and I beelined it for the airport Dunkin Donuts. Oh happiness in that big white styro cup. lol :)
