Lean pocket, slice of blueberry cake and Starbucks frappuccino. All eaten at various times, in stages. I'm on the frappucino now. I think I'll finish off with an apple in a half hour or so.

My wife and all her friends get together and swap cash on this stuff periodicly. My favorites are the rhubarb/strawberry jam, beer bread and the tangerine/cranberry gram cracker dip.

I love potato soup and potato and leek soup, but we already did a "soup thread".

Bit, I guess since I didn't get that it was a joke by WK; I thought you were laughing at yourself. What is PSA?

I like snickers. I haven't tried the newer ones with almonds. I'm not a big candy eater, because I try to refrain myself. I used to freeze my kit kat bars.

My favorite candies are those with macadamia nuts, like ferrer roche and the Italian "Baci" candy. Baci means kiss and there is a label with a saying in each candy.

pink, you are right. The macadamia ones are in the Hawaiian candy. I love chocolate covered cashews too. Macadamia nuts are high in calories, like 25 calories per nut. I got my first taste of them many years ago on my first trip Hawaii. They don't give them out on trips to Hawaii anymore, probably too expensive.

I used to buy the Mauna Loa jar of macadamia nuts and a hershey bar and eat them together.

Oh, that DOES sound yummy.
You can make your own nut clusters by nuking (on low) chocolate chips and mixing with nuts, drop them onto wax or parchment paper... YUM!

pink, I left a question for you on the "ethnic food" thread.

I did make chocolate covered candy when I was in my teens. I don't remember how they came out. I wouldn't mine making my own, because I like just a small coating of chocolate over the nuts.

Macadamia nuts are some of the highest calorie to lowest weight ratio food. Great lightweight snacks!

I made up for my lousy lunch with an awesome dinner. Birch made me some delicious scallop pasta. Tomorrow he's doing tuna steaks. He's pretty good to me. =)

Leftover ham. Tonight, a ham pie made with ham, peas, mushrooms, whatever other leftover veggies, plus a binding gravy made from the ham drippings, flour and whatever else I feel like adding.

The sun is actually shining in Western Washington today, so we are going to lunch at Anthony's down on the marina. Both the Cascades and Olympic mts are in view today. Or as we say here, "the mountains are out." We will have a lovely view of Port Gardner Bay, Whidbey Island and the Olympics. Woo Hoo! I love sunny clear days!
